Inotalis arose from the merging of the Spanish company Plantas de Navarra S.A.
(Planasa), a pioneer in the research and development of new plant varieties suited to Mediterranean climate (strawberries, stone-fruit, asparagus and garlic) and the French plant-variety research and development company Darbonne (strawberries and asparagus) whose varieties are suited to the countries of the centre-north of Europe.
In this way, Inotalis aims to offer continuous innovation in plant varieties suited to any kind of climate, thus favouring its introduction into fruit and vegetable distribution channels.
Inotalis is committed to offering varieties that are distinguished by their flavour, colour, uniformity and firmness bearing in mind both the farmer's needs and the consumer's tastes and providing global solutions for the horticultural sector.
In short, the aim of Inotalis research is to offer the producer “tools” in the form of varieties to extend commercial seasons and avoid production peaks and drops; therefore quality fruit is made available to the consumer all year round.
The products currently developed by Inotalis are:
STRAWBERRY - ASPARAGUS - STONE FRUIT - GARLIC
